Prior to beginning his career in the construction industry, Ryan Vucina attended Monterey Peninsula College, where he received a bachelor’s in business management. Ryan Vucina went on to become the chief operations manager of Vucina Construction in Pacific Grove, California.
The Monterey Peninsula College Business Department includes the Business Skills Center, which offers self-paced courses to help students improve business skills and learn to use various programs. The center includes courses in areas such as small business bookkeeping, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Courses can be completed in as few as two weeks, depending on students’ individual pace and performance.
The Business Skills Center features a Business Technology Lab with the latest hardware and software to help keep students up to date. Courses are added to the skills center as new programs become common in office environments, including the latest versions of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
